Course Description: Generator can truly be described as the reason for building a power station or Plant. The operation, control and protection of turbine generator system is highly criticality to the operation of thermal/gas/steam power plant and its associated auxiliaries. Therefore, an effective and thorough understanding of both mechanical and electrical control is of paramount importance to the operators of such a system. This course is designed to introduce the participants to the basic mechanical and electrical controls system of a turbine generator and the interrelation of the various components through the classroom theory and practical demonstration.
